1. What is Produce-exchange.com?
This site is an informational site for sellers to post their produce and ornamental products so potential buyers will know immediately what shipments are available. Also, buyers can post their products of interest so sellers can be alerted to buyers who need their product.
2. How much does it cost to buyer?
The Cost to all buyers is absolutely FREE. However, there is one exception. If a buyer agrees to purchase produce from a seller and fails to fulfill its obligation in the transaction, then the buyer may be required to pay the buyer’s listing fees incurred on Produce-Exchange.com for the transaction. These fees are nominal, just $1 per $1,000 or .001 of the entire produce transaction. Other than that exception, the cost to buyers using
Produce-Exchange.com is FREE.
3. How much does it cost to seller?
Posting available produce on Produce-Exchange.com is free. If we do not help you find a buyer for your produce shipment, you owe us nothing. You only pay a nominal fee to Produce-Exchange.com if a buyer locates your produce through our exchange and you enter into a transaction with that buyer. Our seller posting fees are nominal, just $1 per $1,000 or .001 of the entire produce transaction. No fees are charged on a seller’s posting that is not placed through Produce-Exchange.com.
4. Why use Produce-exchange.com?
Our services are provided at a minimum cost. We have set our fees at a very nominal rate to encourage brokers, sellers, buyers, growers, jobbers, retailers, or anyone involved in the produce industry to use this network for processing their orders. Produce-Exchange.com will provide up to date information on the produce marketplace to help place produce in a more timely and efficient manner.
No more making dozens of phone calls to see who has what you need. One entry can alert everyone to your produce needs immediately. Buyers can get dozens of offers back from sellers without having to make a single call. Likewise, sellers, can notify everyone who uses their product of what they have available with just a single entry. Then, buyers who are interested will respond. Reduce the number of calls you have to make each day. Now just a few minutes of entries can accomplish what has taken hours on the phone.
Even large companies who have online ordering systems can benefit from this network. We encourage all to participate and there is no cost to join our network. There are no up front cost to list or post your produce on this site. Only, when a seller’s produce is placed to a buyer are there fees and these seller fees are just a fraction of a cent on the dollar. If you have any questions feel free to contact us. 5. How do I join?
To become a member of ProduceExchange.com, go to the Register section, and enter information to register yourself. Then click the "Submit" button if you are a buyer then you have done. For seller account you need to fill next step information to complete registration.
6. I forgot my user name or password. How do I log back into the site?
If you forgot your password or user name you can retrieve it here by entering your email address associated with account.
